Keeping your bike steady with one hand tied behind your back feels like an appropriate analogy for 2021.
It was a tough year for many but one of the positives that have come out of the pandemic has been the surge in the number of people riding bikes across the world as lifestyles change and people respond to the climate crisis, congestion and rising fuel costs. Combined with significant levels of investment into cycling infrastructure means the future is bright for cycling.

In line with most of the cycling sector, 2021 was a year of strong growth and after launching our debut Impact Report last year, following our first full year as a BCorp, we have been on a journey to continually improve our impacts on our team, society and the environment whilst trying reducing our negative impacts.
We’re therefore proud to present our 2021 Impact Report. A transparent review of what went well and what didn’t, plus what we’re focussing on next. We’re measuring more than ever before so you’ll find new data points and initiatives all supporting our mission to protect the world’s riders and the places we ride.

For a number of reasons we didn’t achieve all of the goals we set out to at the start of the year, covered in more detail in the report, but we’re as dedicated as ever to listening, learning and setting new goals to become a better business.
Download the full report below and we’d like to hear your feedback, whatever you think. Email us at hello@bikmo.com with your thoughts.
