You should enter the value for the bike as it would cost to rebuild it in the event it was stolen i.e. to buy everything again. Ask your local bike shop if you need any help or give the team a call.

To comply with your Bikmo MTB insurance policy your bikes need to be locked to your bike rack through the frame using an appropriately rated Sold Secure lock.

Also, consider that the time your bike is locked to the rack and left unattended is limited to 24 hours.

Yes – we like adventures too, so you’re covered worldwide as standard with your Bikmo MTB policy.

Your policy also includes damage or theft, depending on the policy you take out, to your bike whilst in transit – more time for focussing on your route.

No – with our electric bike insurance policy, we can only cover pedal-assisted electric bikes that have a maximum power output of 250 watts, are restricted to 15.5mph or 25 km/h and cannot be ridden by someone under the age of 14.

If you use a de-restrictor kit, your e-bike motor has more power as standard, or you have a button/twist & go throttle (not walk assist mode), then your insurance will be invalid and the bike comes under the Road Traffic Act, which means tax and licensing – www.gov.uk/electric-bike-rules

We cover any jumps, drops and berms that are on properly designated trails, such as trail centres or pump tracks.

We don’t cover ‘stunts’ however, such as building a massive kicker in some privately owned woods.
