CoverFit FAQs

Can you tell me more about the CoverFit process?

Yes! CoverFit starts with a personal online or in-person consultation with our specialist cycling business insurance expert. The call will last up to 1 hour, and you can choose a time that suits you.

You will ask you some questions to help us understand your business, and fit your cover and quote to your business activities and identified risks. You will also receive advice on how you can reduce your risk and support to build a solution that you can trust – one that packs a punch without breaking the bank.

Within 48 hours* of your CoverFit consultation, you will be sent an email with your personalised proposal.

That’s it! If you accept the quote, we will get your cover setup and be on-hand for any questions or support needed along the way including changes you might need to make to your policy mid-term.

* we will usually be quicker, but sometimes we may need more information or to speak to our underwriters so occasionally it might take a little longer.

Why bother when I can buy insurance in seconds online?

Technology and AI is changing how we buy everything. Insurance is no exception, with the traditional broker increasingly being replaced by huge price comparison engines and algorithms because that’s a cheaper way to sell insurance.

For commoditised insurance like car and home, this is a great solution – fast and efficient. There is very little variance in the risks we face, and activities carried out when driving and living in our houses.

However, for specialist business insurance like our bike shop policy, we believe humans still need to be in the driving seat to take on the responsibility of recommending the best-fit insurance for that business.

We are not against tech – in fact we love it! You can buy our cycle insurance in seconds, manage your insured kit list and make claims online 24/7.
