Pricing
What does it cost?
Bicycle insurance costs depend on the value of your bike/s. Our cover starts from £3.73 a month. If you have more than one bike at your address, you can also add it to the same policy and benefit from our multi-bike discount. That means 50% off additional bikes, taking your highest value bike at full price.
Frequently asked questions
How do I apply my Cycling UK discount?
You will be asked for your Cycling UK membership number at checkout to access the discount. The Cycling UK member discount is then automatically applied to all policies purchased via this Cycling UK bike insurance page.
Can I insure my family’s bikes on the same policy?
Yes, as long as all family members reside in the same address on your policy. You’ll even benefit from a 50% discount when insuring multiple bikes, with the discount applying to the lowest value bike/s.

Does everyone in my household need to be a Cycling UK member?
No, only the policy holder needs an existing Cycling UK membership. They can insure all the bikes in their household under one policy, regardless of other members of the household having a Cycling UK membership or not.
Can I insure an e-bike?
Yes, we do insure electric bikes. This includes MTB, road, hybrid and Brompton Electric bikes, providing that the e-bike meets the requirements of the Road Traffic Act. You’ll even benefit from a 25% saving on e-bike policies compared to regular ones, simply tick bike when getting a quote with us.
