If one day rides leave you wanting more, or you just want a proper cycling escape this year, then the Dulux Trade London Revolution or Deloitte Ride Across Britain may be for you. We are happy to recommend these events, having been there to because they provide the right support for all rider capabilities, the little details are thought of, and the up-beat festival feeling at their stops and overnighters is brilliant.
The Deloitte Ride Across Britain
23 counties. 3 countries. 1 epic bucket list challenge.
The Deloitte Ride Across Britain, the UK’s most iconic and largest Land’s End to John O’Groats bike ride, takes place from 8th-16th September 2018.
More than 850 cyclists of all ages, abilities and nationalities, will ride 969 miles in nine days, camping overnight, or staying in local hotels. As well as the full route, some riders will do the five days through England while others will do the four spectacular days through Scotland.
The route takes in the most beautiful parts of Britain from barren moorlands to lush green valleys, winding back lanes, stunning coastal roads and majestic highlands. The Ride is fully supported by a 150-strong support crew – a signposted route that’s easy to follow, accommodation, delicious hot food, regular pit stops, mechanical and medical support and chaperones who ensure everyone is safe and offer often much-needed encouragement.
It’s not too late to sign up and train for this year’s Ride, but hurry, there are less than 100 places remaining!
The Dulux Trade London Revolution
Bikes, bars and bands… the perfect cycling weekend!
Dulux Trade London Revolution, the UK’s greatest two-day cycle ride, will take place on 12th -13th May 2018. Around 2,500 cyclists will ride 300km, 360˚ loop around the capital in one weekend, camping overnight.
A smaller group of cyclists will take part in Oracle ULTRA, part of Dulux Trade London Revolution, and complete the 300km breath-taking and varied route, in just one day, on the Saturday.
Dulux Trade London Revolution and Oracle ULTRA are fully supported. Cyclists receive training plans and there is a sign-posted route, regular pit stops, delicious food and drink, chaperones and medical and mechanical support.
At the Windsor Racecourse festival camp friends and family can join riders to kick back and relax with the Kids Zone, bouncy castles, face painting, chill out tents, live music, bars, food and drink and retail stalls with a fantastic range of exhibitors as well as live music. For those who want to, there is the option to camp overnight, and, this year, for the first time, there is a glamping option for those who want a bit more comfort than a tent.
