Frequently asked questions
Your free insurance will simply expire at the end of the 14 days period and no payment will be taken – we don’t take your payment details. We’ll send reminder emails to let you know when your cover ends, and at any time you have the option to take out a full policy with Bikmo so that you stay insured.
We want to help riders enjoy their new bike worry-free, and by giving away free insurance we allow people to do so. Hopefully you like what you see with Bikmo, and you choose to stay insured by taking out a full policy, but if not, don’t worry there’s no charge and we won’t spam you into submission like you might think!
If you accidentally damage your bike, or it’s stolen during the 14 day free insurance period, we will either repair or replace your bike. If we replace your bike this will be like for like, or as similar as is possible of the equivalent value.
Bicycle replacements are provided excess free, however, if for any reason a replacement bicycle can’t be sourced, a 10% excess is payable on any claims settled as cash.
