They did very well in helping new bike owners make sure that everything is safe and the only thing they'll have to worry about is the biking itself.

So far so good!

Road bike policy benefits

Accidental damage

You ride fast and long, but sometimes the tarmac bites back. Our policy covers you for damage you inflict on your bike so you can get back up and keep on riding.

Theft

Argh, did your carbon steed get stolen? It happens and that’s why we’re here, just make sure you comply with our locking requirements.

£2m Public liability

On the commute, club run or sportive, if you’re at fault when out riding and things go wrong, Bikmo is here for you up to the value of £2 million + defence costs too. Still, we recommend staying upright.

365 Worldwide

Planning a training camp in the sun? Good luck. We’ll cover your bike & kit anywhere in the world whether you’re riding, racing, or in transit. You just concentrate on the tan lines!

Accessories

Extras attached everywhere? We cover bike accessories as standard, so your Garmin, lights & saddle bag are included. Battery life and performance not included. Limits apply.

Clothing + Headgear

Your helmet, glasses and shoes are nearly the same value as your bike, so we cover clothing and headgear, as standard. You just need to sort out the road rash…Limits apply.

Road Cycle Frequently Asked Questions

Can you cover my bikes on a training camp in Tenerife?

Your Bikmo policy covers you 365 worldwide, which includes any Spring training camps to avoid British winter weather. You don’t even need to let us know, just enjoy the sun and get the miles in. We even cover your bikes and kit in transit, if an airline trashes your bike before you get there.

My clothing and kit cost as much as my bike – are they covered?

With Bikmo you get £250 or 10% of your total sum insured towards clothing and kit. So if you insure £3,000 bikes, you get £300 cover for clothing and helmets, plus a further £300 towards accessories. Almost enough for that Rapha jacket then?

I’m riding a sportive in the Lake District – do I need extra cover?

Nope. Your Bikmo policy covers you for sportives as standard, allowing you to focus on reaching the next feed station with peace of mind. You can even activate your ‘Returning home’ cover of up to £150 if you have an incident during the sportive.

Meet the team

Small enough to care, large enough to cope, able to chat about bikes all day… your Bikmo team are here to help you enjoy your cycling more, give you peace of mind, the best deals, and the kind of service you and your bikes deserve.

That’s when we’re not riding the Welsh hills, anyway.
