Granted, the UK has some beautiful roads and trails to ride, but sometimes you just want to get away and experience the breathtaking places to ride in Europe, America or further afield. If this sounds like you, and you’re planning a trip with your bike, read on further to find out more about why our cycle insurance and travel insurance are designed to meet your travel needs.

So why do I need cycle insurance while travelling?

Unfortunately, there’s a lot that can go wrong wherever you’re riding, and we’ve experienced the sharp end of it. If you’d like some protection for the incidents you can’t plan for, not only at home but abroad too, then we’d love to cover you… If you hit the deck on the hairpin of an Alpine descent or a less than competent baggage handler crunches your bike, then you’re going to need a bit of help.

Bikmo has year-round worldwide cover – we’ll cover an emergency bike to the same specification as yours, and we can even help source a replacement bike if the worst happens en route or just before you travel.

Cover for your bike, kit and you as a rider

Bikmo provides market-leading cycle insurance 365 days of the year, including worldwide theft and accidental damage cover for your bikes, accessories, clothing and headgear, during transit and at your destination, as standard.

With 3 cover levels to choose from, you can also protect yourself as a rider. With benefits such as public liability, personal accident, dental and optical injury, you have peace of mind should those new roads bite back!

Add on our Bikmo travel insurance too, which protects you when taking part in adventurous activities, and we’ve got your whole trip covered.
